Eagle Nest trail *** Update***

We did this trail again today. It was 5 degrees cooler and we started out much earlier. This time we only stopped to rest once. Being cooler and better prepared with hats and hiking poles the hike was much easier. I was still a bit stiff by the time I got home but overall was glad we made a second attempt.

This was supposed to be an easy trail. Although the trail was well groomed, it was quite steep in some places. Part of the difficulty was that it was a bit warm out, coupled with the 7,000 ft elevation. In any case, we made it. Will try this one again sometime when the temperature is a bit lower.
